For over a week now my land line has had a fault.
Not able to phone out or take incoming calls. Message on phone display shows " LINE CORD ERROR". Tried other phones with same result.
Ran the service status and comes back no faults found in your area. Can not speak to anyone at Virgin Media about ongoing issues as call centres closed.

We have a fault on our home phone cannot make or receive calls on the display it says. Check phone line , we have run status checks and says it’s all ok ! We cannot contact anybody !

Can you please remove any pieces of equipment from the extension cables and then unplug and then re-plug the handset in to see if the status changes and you get a dial tone?
Thanks for advice. Engineer called yesterday and found snapped cable to outside of home.
