No i went through this with phone support over the course of 3 hours yesterday. 2 hours if which spent on hold 😞

Sorry to hear of the issues that you've been having trying to get this issue resolved @iamscotty.

 

I have raised this with our faults team to be looked into further, they should be in touch with you in the next 24 to 48 hours and hopefully will have a resolution to this issue.

Hello,

As of 8/11/2020 at 10:28pm my home phone is going mental again.

Please can i have my number changed?

No one from virgin has been in contact in regards to this and it is STILL forwarding to my mobile. This is unacceptable as it has been going on over a month now.

I may have to change phone providers if this continues or cancel the phone line altogether.

Hi, im a technician, just a question.  When you answer the calls on your phone, who are they.  Does it still do it when you have your wifi turned off?

Hi Rich,

When I answer within the 2 rings I am greeted by silence, click, and then dial tone . If I answer it any later, just dial tone

If i am not in the house and it calls, it does not redirect to my mobile from what I can see.

It's been quiet for a few days and now it has started again and its driving me mad.

If I unplug my handset, it goes direct to my mobile when on the wifi.

There is no forward on the handsets or on the line. So it must be some wifi calling feature on the hub 3.

Does your phoneline come from the Hub (21CV) or is it plugged into a physical line?

The phone cable goes into port 1 on the hub

OK.  Have you tried disabling WiFi calling on your mobile?

No, I have not but regardless I should not have 20 new missed called at 10:30pm on a sunday.

I also dont want the wifi calling enabled on my router a whole. It is an unsecure method concidering i have friends on my wifi.

I have checked my mobile and it appears I dont have the option to disable or enable the calling.

However, this has affected x2 iphones which do not have wificalling enabled by default.

Please can I have this feature disabled on the hub, and my number changed.

I'm at the end of my patience if iv spent over 5 hours on the phone already to virgin about this

WiFi calling isn't an enable/disable option on the hub.  WiFi calling will work on any WiFi network.  It is used if you have poor mobile signal on mobile etc.  It isn't used to divert landline calls to a mobile unless call divert is turned on, in that case it divirts landline to mobile network, not WiFi
