Re: Home phone disabled hub 3

Is your phone line currently provided via a socket on the wall? If so then this is the way you must use the phone for the time being. Everyone on the network will be migrated to the Hub based phone service in a rolling programme over the next few years.

Virgin BB TV Landline. Freeview/Freesat HD, Virgin Mobile, Tesco Mobile. Cable customer since 1993

Re: Home phone disabled hub 3

Good afternoon @Jasonandemma

Thank you for taking the time to post.

I have taken a look into this, I can't see that there are any issue with your landline services from our end.

When you say that its not working, are you getting a diel tone? Are you getting any incoming calls?

Kind regards,

Zak_M

Re: Home phone disabled hub 3

You can't just plug in a phone to the Hub. Your account has to be updated to make it work. Generally that's not yet offered to existing customers with a separate phone line.

If you report a fault with your home phone service, then you'll get it fixed. In some circumstances this may result in the phone service being moved to your Hub - if that's the best solution.

However that's not guaranteed, and it's also possible that your separate line will be repaired.
