I am experiencing a very similar problem. Been a customer for years and had no correspondence about the new phone adaptor, and never received one.
Received and SMS from virgin media telling me my phone switchover should now be complete without any context. Obviously it isn’t and my phone line is now dead.
Over an hour and half trying to contact Virgin on my mobile. Had to resort to online complaint and finally got an email saying please call technical team for assistance. They didn’t however provide any phone number to call! I’ll have to use my mobile to call them as can’t call 150 in land line.
absolutely appalling experience trying to deal with Virgin.
