Home phone Hacked?

Since early hours of this morning I have had 3 phone calls to my landline stating that I rang them first, when I didn't. I have tried calling customer service and it says they're shut due to Covid, any idea how to contact them or any ideas how to sort this please??

Refer to this topic for info.

Quite likely that your number has been used as a fake caller ID during scam calls.

Re: Home phone Hacked?

Hi Kate77eliz.

Thanks for posting and welcome to our community 🙂

I'm sorry to hear there's some confusion with your landline, I assure you hacking is not possible.

It could however be a crossed line, can you please make a call from your landline to a mobile to check your number shows up?

call spoofing is very easy.
In fact its pretty normal. I have to do it all the time on voip systems.
