Home number not ported

Help!

had the phone installed over 2 months ago and had lots of issues but still haven’t had my home phone number ported over, web chatted with someone and told would be done about 2 weeks ago, still not. Tried to raise a complaint a week ago but not had it acknowledged, any ideas? I’ve basically got a useless phone with a dummy number.

Sorry to hear this is still an issue 

Can I ask before anything that your previous suppliers number is still active and working?

Not sure Gareth, but given I left them 10 weeks ago I’d doubt it.

Hi dom3,

 

If your line was inactive 10 weeks ago, then this could be why we haven't been able to transfer your number over to us. 

 

Did you request that they left your line active?

Yes I asked for it to happen and have been told that it will a few times, last time was told it would at the end of  may but still nothing. 

Any ideas what I can do??

We would need to make sure the old line is still active. If this isn't active, then we wouldn't be able to transfer the number, I am sorry.

 

Are you able to speak to your old provider to check the line is still active?
