Home Phone no dial tone.

I had Virgin installed 18 months ago and never installed a home phone, I have a phone number and the line is part of my contract, but I have no dial tone through the hub or a socket I have on the wall. ? My hub says telephone disabled?

I'm very sorry to hear about the issue with your landline. 

 

Can you just confirm have you been able to try another handset on the line?

I've tried 2 different handsets in both a wall socket and the hub, don't know which one was activated.

It's likely you will need an engineer for this.

Tried a different cable to the wall socket and now it's working. Thanks for helping.
