Home Phone Not Working

For the second time in 3 days my home phone is not working my mobile is PAY AS You GO  and i am burning through credit trying to contact v.m, when i run check the service status it shows no known issues, i ran the test and it only runs to 7% than stops and give the message 'The test results were inconclusive' asks me to phone v.m it would be nice if they would answer the phone. Am now thinking of leaving v.m as soon as i can establish a new email address,i was stupid and relied solely on my NTL World address.

Engineer came round tried his best but it seems a new cable is needed and looks like phone won't be fixed till 4 Jan but engineer said he wold contact his manager and try to get it fixed before the end of the month.

Is it poss for me to set up call divert while my land line is not working to my mobile and any idea as to the cost

Sorry x15, while the line is out of action unfortunately that wouldn't be possible. 

 

Did you hear anything further from the engineer regarding the cable being replaced?

Engineer booked replacement cable at time of visit for January the 4 but said he would talk to his manager to see if it could be done before the end of the year.

Engineer came today phone still not working after more than 10 days.

The engineer tried his best cannot fault him.

Am now sick and tired of virgin.

I have an aunt in Cyprus who is ill i need a phone line.

If i did not need my NTL address i would be.

In addition to compensation for loss of the line i will be charging virgin  all mobile calls.
