My Dad is a vulnerable 86 year old and his phone line is down, I can not get hold of anyone to help. Do I really need to cancel the Direct Debit to get someone to talk to me

Thanks for your reply. Really glad to hear that the tech was able to get things fixed.
To register for an online account here you will need to add a 0 at the beginning of the account number. This should then let you register online.
Let me know if you have any further issues.
