Just back from holiday to a garbled message from a 'mumbler' about cutting off landline.
Called 150 but got fed up after 25 minutes of headache inducing 'music' (maybe that's the idea).
After some internet searching I've deduce that VM are moving from copper to fibre VOIP. No email. no letter just a waring of imminent cut-off (can't tell you when because the message is so bad).
I'm mainly housebound due to disabilities I have a community alarm system which uses the same landline that is to be cut-off, I'm assuming this alarm system will still operate.

Hi Naldo58, thanks for posting and welcome back to our community.
Firstly, I hope you had a lovely time away. I am sorry for any concerns that a pending changeover to VOIP may have. You can read up on the switchover here. However, I would like to take a closer look on your behalf to ensure you're not left without a phone service, as it sounds like the message you received was related to cancelling your phone service. I am going to send you a private message. Please look out for the purple envelope in the top right of your screen.
