I recently updated my contract to get faster broadband. Afterwards we found that the free voicemail on the landline that we have had for the last twenty or so years had disappeared (the phone just rings and rings.) I dialled 1571 and was pleased to be taken through a set-up system and assumed that it would now work. Instead it still rings and rings. Now if I try 1571 I am told that I have 'no new messages' - which is, of course, no surprise.
Has anyone else had such a problem? How do I get my voicemail back?
