my main phone station is not near my hub.

How do I organise a technician to help with this - I presume for free.

Hi @ijb2

Welcome to the community forums.

Sorry to hear you have a concern with your hub and phone location to complete the new IP phone set up.

With this new set up, your landline would no longer need to connect into a masker wall socket and would only require a power socket next to the router. If the location or your router is not suitable, we can arrange an engineer to come a relocate your router to your landline. We would however, recommend that your router as central as possible in the home to provide the best coverage.

If you do not wish to relocate the router to the landline, you can look at DECT landline phones where you should be able to keep the in-home set up you have now.
