The item you have linked to is probably more than you need. The linked version is only compatible in Germany. The UK versions are £50+. It is a base combining analogue lines and VOIP connection. You would not need any VOIP features as the VM line via the hub just works with an ordinary phone.
You have probably got a few choices. The manual for your existing phone is here by the look of it

Choice 1: See if you can find an additional handset/charger second hand for the C620 model (C620H looks like it might be the code). Put your existing cordless base and phone next to the VM hub. Use the additional satellite phone where you have your current phone. Check in the manual but your should be able to control all the features such as answering machine, missed call notifications etc. via the satellite phone without having to be next to the base station. Places such as eBay, Gumtree etc. can be useful sources (with the usual caveats for buying second hand kit there). In the back of the manual it lists accessories and a few other Gigaset phone models so you may not need the exact C620 model.
Choice 2: The C620 is 'GAP compatible' which means other cordless phones can be linked to the base station if they too are 'GAP compatible'. You would be able to answer calls but all of the Gigaset features may not be available with an alternative GAP compatible phone model.
Choice 3: See if you can pick up a second hand satellite charging base and charger for the C620 model (most likely some other model bases may be equivalent). Leave just the cordless base station plugged into the VM hub. Take your existing handset to where you use it and charge it there with the additional cradle/charger.
Choice 4: Replace your cordless system with a new one with more handsets
Choice 5: Let VM modify your home wiring so you keep all equipment in the same place as-is with no changes. In regard to the wiring, you presumably have some coax cable from the hub running inside the home or going outside. Any additional phone wiring could follow that cable route to minimise disruption and then join to the existing phone socket cable. It may be possible to join in the omni box outside. You would only be able to work this out on site with the VM tech depending on your existing setup and cable runs.
Those are the options I can think of!
