Fibre phone switchover problems

A technician visited me on 8th August to switch me to fibre phone as I have 4 extensions. Whilst he was here he said that I could no longer connect my pc directly to the hub via an ethernet cable so my speed has dropped from 250mbs to about 70mbs. [With the ethernet cable attached the hub malfunctions] Also there is now a constant buzz on the phone when speaking and in addition one of my extensions is completely dead. I have tried on numerous occasions to deal with 150 but they flatly refuse to send a technician to help as the system says that my broadband line is working ok. I am at the end of my tether with this and would welcome some assistance please.

Hey Alexlawrie,

Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums.
I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your phone line since the fibre switchover and I'm not really sure why you have been told that you cannot use an ethernet socket after the changeover, you should be able to carry on using the same connection as you did before the changeover.

We will need to arrange a technician visit to look into your issues with the extensions but first I would need to confirm a few details via private message, please look out for my message and we can get started.
Kind Regards,
