Fibre Phone Switchover

Switched over today with adapter as per instructions, but landline not working.  I've checked the connections to the hub, rebooted as per instructions and is still not working.  Have tried calling to be told that tests will be carried out on my line and phone back in 10 mins.  This was about 2 hours ago and everytime I phone up I keep getting told that tests are still running call back in 10 mins.  Can someone please help?

Thanks for using the forums to get this issue with your landline switch over looked into, I am sorry if this has been causing some frustration. 

The home phone switchover usually takes 24 hours to fully complete, so this may be why your landline is not working at the moment due to these tests ongoing today. 

I would wait until tomorrow to test out your landline, if it's still not working properly please do these steps first before coming back to us -

  • Check the phoneline is plugged into your Hub correctly and tightly. 
  • Reboot your Hub. 

If it is still not working after a reboot then further diagnostics as well as an engineer may be needed. 

I'll reach out to you tomorrow anyway just to check on how things are. 

Speak to you tomorrow.
