So it looks like we're going over to Fibre Home Phone in October according to the text received over the weeikend.
A quick look round says that VM are going to send me a "short" adapter to take a standard phone socket to the socket in the Hub...
Existing setup is the my VM services comes into the property via the garage (my Nynex brown box is in the garage) then straight through into the lounge.
My phone line is in the hallway near the front door and my VM line is there (where my cordless phone base station is)......as I understand does this mean I now need to move my home phone into the lounge (behind the TV etc)? Or is there a way to get the existing port connected to the hub.....

Nearer the time you should get a further communication from VM regarding this. When you do you will need to arrange for a technician visit to wire the telephone point to the Hub for you.
