FURIOUS! - no landline

Cazzle18
On our wavelength

We have not had a landline for a week - myself and my husband are both registered disabled and rely on the phone for hospital appointments etc. We had an engineer come out yesterday to replace the cable in the front garden but, he said he wasn't qualified to connect it. He's left the cable on the pavement outside our home and our elderly next door neighbour has just tripped over it! We have lost most of our tv channels that we are paying extra for. My husband has just telephoned to ask when this cable will be attached by an engineer and we have been given a date of the 4th January 2023! I'm absolutely livid ! My husband is wanting to watch his football matches and darts over Christmas. I can make do with the apps on my tv. We are pay over £100 a month for what exactly?????????????

Hi Cazzle18,

Thanks for posting and sorry to hear you've had some issues with your services.

In regards to the TV services, I've had a look at things from our side and it looks like you're affected by an area SNR issue. Whilst this is ongoing you may find your TV and broadband services are intermittent. The estimated fix date for this is 6pm this evening.

Regarding the phone line cabling, so I can give you an update I'll need to confirm a few details with you first, I've popped you over a private message for this (purple envelope, top right hand corner)
