Extending landline ring time

Like Lizziepuff on 13-10-2020 I am having trouble getting through on 151 to extend ring time before voicemail kicks in.

I see from the answer by Lee-R that a link can be sent via private message.

I understand from Virgin web site that the current default is 10 rings, this would be fine for me.

I assume that it will be free of charge to change.

Thanks

Re: Extending landline ring time

Hi there @Lew71

Thanks for your post and welcome to the community.

Sorry to hear you've not been able to get through to the team, we are very busy at the moment and doing all we can to get to each call ASAP.

We can change this for you here - the maximum is 10 rings. I'll private message you now to pass security and we'll get this sorted.

Thanks,

Re: Extending landline ring time

Brilliant, thank you very much for confirming the account security.

So I have been able to get this ordered for you - it will extend to 10 rings within the next 24 hours.

Please pop back if you need any further help 🙂

Thanks,

Re: Extending landline ring time

I was able to pass security @Lew71 - not to worry 🙂

I've been able to place the order and the rings will be updated within 24 hours.

Let me know if there is anything else I can help with,

Thanks,
