How do I check whether my number is ex-directory, please?

This includes all entries from the database used by all licensed telcos.  If you find yourself on here and want to change that, no good contacting BT, you'd need to contact VM.

I'm not in the BT phone book although I want to be. How do I ask VM to change my status, if necessary, do you happen to know? 

(I was ex-D when I had a BT line many years ago.)

I think forum staff can sort that out for you.  Sometimes takes a day or three before they get round to posts.
