My phone has not been working for a week. An engineer has been booked to visit. Subsequently due to network issues the appointment has been cancelled. When these have been resolved I have had to report the fault again and invest time in obtaining a new appointment. Why is it not possible to check if a fault reported pre outage has been fixed before cancelling the engineer visit?

I've checked the system today and the line is showing as non-contactable. I've scheduled a work order over to our fault management team to get them to hopefully remote fix it, or they'll be in touch if not.
