ENGINEER DID NOT TURN UP

I was expecting an engineer to call between 4-7 p.m. and fit a new Router 3. No one has come. I have a reference 50756394. Is this a scam and what do I do next?

How was this arrangement made for a technician visit?

Did you contact VM regarding a fault and they arranged the technician when you spoke to them?

Or did you receive a call out of the blue about a 'broadband fault' and were told someone would come to fit a new router (which would in all likelihood be a scam)?

I'm really sorry to hear that you've had some problems with a technician appointment. To confirm, was this for attending a technical fault that would see your router potentially being replaced, or was this for an installation of new services?

Since your post, have you received any communication at all stating why the appointment was unable to go ahead as scheduled?
