Have been a VM customer for MANY years without probs.
Recently - at the suggestion of the VM engineer - I changed over my home phone to working through my hub. This obviously meant, after 40 years, changing my phone number.
Since this change over - I get a dialling tone, I dial the number, then there is a 6 second delay before I hear a ringing tone.
Didn't have this problem on my old number through cable. VERY frustrating!

This problem has NOT been resolved and it seems is now being ignored by Virgin Media.
I have raised a complaint but had no response.
I still have this delay before the phone I am calling rings - I have been very patient - it's now over 4 months since I first reported this problem.

Yes, We contacted each other back and forward but nothing has changed. I have now raised another complaint but no response from VM.
