Dead landline

My 'phone has been out of order all day. I was told that it would be fixed by 4:00. It is now 4:20 and I still have no 'phone.

Welcome back, thanks for posting.

I am sorry for the issue with your landline.

We have engineers on it at the moment, the estimated fixture time is showing as the 24th 4pm. But this is subject to change, if there are any unforeseen circumstances.

This really is a very poor service

Problems with television catch up, e-mail not working and now telephone

And I apparently just have to accept it with a 30 day time limit if I want to change to another provider

And I have been told that due to essential work there may be prblems on the 30th

I understand that you are not happy with this, have you visited our code of practice? Also our Auto compensation scheme.

We will be doing everything possible to get this working again, I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Somehow I suspect that the loss of the land line does not count as a total loss of service
I do not have a mobile 'phone so this is really inconvenient.
I look forward to seeing what tomorrow brings
