Dead Home Phone Landline

Hello Virigin,

Dead Home Phone Landline

We need some help.

  • An elderly lady’s phone line has been dead for the last 3 days.
  • The person concerned has a mobile with patchy reception and relies on the landline to arrange shopping deliveries, doctors appointments etc. In the current climate this is very important.
  • They are NOT connected to the internet.
  • We have tried the Service Status Checker by typing in the relevant Virgin landline phone number and all that happens is that we are sent back to the Service Status Checker home page.
  • Called the Service Status Line 0800 561 0061, yesterday and it did say there was a problem yesterday and the fault would be fixed by 3pm today, but this has not happened.
  • Tried phoning the Call Centre and waited on the line yesterday and today for 30 mins each time.
  • I have now resorted to the online Forum………….

Is there any help available to sort this problem?
