Date of phone changeover

Rustyjack

Have had no reason to use the forum for some time but hearing about the phone changes I thought I would have a look. I can't find any time table for the changeover. Do we just sit and wait for a letter (and adapter)? or is there a known date for which we can plan arrangements.

Thanks

Hi @Rustyjack thanks for your reply.

No problem at all, you may need an engineer's visit to help with this as we may need additional wiring to run round your home if you wish to have things in the same locations that they are currently.

If you need further help once you see the communications regarding the switchover, please don't hesitate to let us know!
Many thanks

Hey Rustyjack,

Welcome back!

There isn't a timetable as such, apologies - when it is ready to be rolled out in your area you will receive notification as you've mentioned, this is normally by letter. In terms of the arrangements you need to make - is that something we can help with?

Cheers,

Ryan.

Thank you Ryan. No particular problem just now but my router and main phone socket are on different floors. The socket connects to the base station of a two handset wireless phone. There are also two phone in different parts of the house wired from the main socket. Looking forward to an engineer's visit.
