DOCSIS conversion question

(Guess this is phone related.........dunno) if not correct move it

So yesterday I got my phone line from virgin converted to DOCSIS I obviously have a virgin phone box installed weird thing is shouldn't have that stopped working? if the connection runs through the docsis now? as apparently that appears to still be working too. Will that go off eventually?

Hi johnsemple123,

Thanks for your post. Any device or service that you may have had running through the standard phone line [ POTS] will get switched off unless you have connected them to your DOCSIS service.

What I mean is that phone line that was converted is still working at the moment................? I guess it will go off soon enough?

Just to update. PTOS part went off today at some point so now I am officially full DOCSIS
