I’ve had cracking on my home landline for a while now and it finally got so bad I brought a new handset.
Only to discover the fault is still there.
There is nothing else plugged into the line and was using cordless phones around the house. I have tried for several days to get through to Virgin but have been cut off as they cannot hear me - also tried my mobile but that seems to cut off after 70mins anyway and have now run up a bill to pay there too!
The self test on the web site times out and there seems little alternatives than phoning prom the contact pages.
I’m hoping someone will be able to get back to me through here with more luck.
