Contract cancelled

Well, i cannot belive the ammount of calls, chasing people we have done to get the phone line cut off. Each time we are getting told more lies. We have now been told it takes 7 days, so this has gone from 24hrs, to 48 hrs now to 7 days. Is this because Virgin are just being plain awkward as the customer is leaving, being us. This is now holding up our exchange to BT for all our services. WHo is the best person to raise this issue to, as its now a official complaint in my eyes. 28th July we notified Virgin our 30 days notice, and trust me 27th August at 0010 you were quick enough to cut our broadband and tv off, even though the actual cut off time was 2359 on the 27th
