I am trying to connect phone to my hub but do not have the connection between that converts the phone jack into the hub.

how do i get one

Have you been advised you need to change over?

Usually when you join Virgin Media with the Hub based line or when you're moved over to the Hub based line from a separate line you are sent the adapter before the line is live.
