Charged for calls I didn't make

Latest bill shows charge for calls but we haven't got a phone plugged in.we have a VM landline but we don't use it.

Hello Carro

Sorry to hear this has happened

Sounds like a crossed line in the cabinet outside 

Dont worry its an easy fix 

We just send out an engineer, wait for confirmation the calls were not made and then credit back the charges 

I will need to send you a private message to pass security 
If you can check the purple envelope top right of your screen that would be great

Hi Gareth

Engineer plugged his phone in and said the line was dead.He put a connector in router to use if ever we needed it. Not sure if that was the problem?

Don't know I was at work when he came.

There's a small cable plugged in the router with a telephone connector on the end.

We don't use the landline anyway so it doesn't matter.

Sorry we've not managed to get to the bottom of this yet Carro. May I ask whether you use any features on the phone, such as call back when free, or the speaking clock for example? When did you start seeing the charges? For example have they just appeared on your most recent bill or have they appeared on several bills?

No we use no features because we haven't got a phone plugged in that's why we didn't know the line was dead. These charges have appeared on the last two bills.
