I have ordered broadband and phone from VM. I have an install date next month. I "think" I would have asked to keep my existing landline number if that was a choice but don't really remember.
I have tried in vain to get confirmation via the VM website but it seems to use AI chat that sends me down a rabbit hole that forces me to choose an answer that isn't relevant to my question or gives me a choice to call back later or go to WhatsApp....where the same AI leads me down the same rabbit hole.
I have also tried calling the 0345 number but it wants characters from my password.....and it doesn't accept those that I recently set. So it doesn't let me through to talk to a person.
All I want is confirmation that VM will automatically be transferring my landline number from my old supplier (Talktalk) to VM.
I would be grateful if you could look into this for me please. Thank you.
