Is it possible to change my Landline number? I've just joined Virgin media but got a bit too used to my old number. Parents (who live with me) were fine with a new number but have recently changed their mind.

I can confirm we have been waiting for the cease to come back to us from BT and unfortunately with this scenario, it requires us to speak to BT and advice differs depending on the agent we speak to. We keep resubmitting, asking for updates, until we can get it going and this was the reason for the delay and I'm sorry about this.
Can you please reboot your Hub and let me know when you've done this so I can check the updated line details?
Thanks RizwanAhmed. I've refreshed the details, can you try calling the number from your mobile to see if you can receive the call on the landline? And can you make calls or hear a dial tone? I'm asking as I want to ask our Telephony Team to check.

I've refreshed it a few times but some details doesn't look right so I've raised a ticket on your account for our Telephony Team to take a look and speak to our switch engineers for further investigation. I can confirm the line is showing as active but the routing needs to be checked. It can take them up to 5 days to update your details but please let us know after 5 days if the old number still isn't working.
