Cannot dial out on the home phone

I was told there was a block on my home phone and now no one knows what is happening. I have had no home for nearly a month and suddenly get an email saying that my phone will be disconnected!! I have an elderly mother in care and I need a phone.

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums.

We're sorry to hear you're having an issue dialling out on your landline. It sounds as though this is in relation to the landline switchover. We would have tried getting in touch and if we still didn't hear from you then we would have popped a message on your phone preventing you from making non-emergent calls. 

Finally the last step is to disconnect the landline if we still don't receive contact. This is something we can certainly check for you but in order to do that I will need to confirm some information with you to pass security. 

I have sent you a direct message to allow us to do this with you in a private space. If you are using a PC/Laptop then you can just click on the little ✉ at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox. If you are on a mobile/tablet device then instead click on the little circle icon in the top right then select 'Messages'. 😊
