My phone was ported over on 6/11/20, and cannot receive calls.
Called technical services they could not find anything wrong. Since then have spent nearly 6 hours on the phone and each time after speaking to some I keep getting cut off.
Can anyone please help, I have done all the obvious stuff, calling out is not a problem, coming up to 3 weeks
Thanks for your post and welcome to our community.
Very sorry you're having trouble with receiving calls since porting your number over, this isn't good.
Can I ask what you have already done just so we don't ask you to do it again?
What handset are you using?
If needed it's certainly something we can look into further 🙂
Thanks for your response.
I have rebooted the router.
I have powered off/on router and my phone - BT BT Advanced Z Cordless Telephone & Answering Machine
I have checked VM service status and spoken to VM Tech - no problems identified. but keep getting cut off to arrange engineer.
I have checked that I have not been diverted - all clear
Not sure what else I can do, open to your suggestions
Thanks for that.
Are you able to make calls?
Do you know if the person gets an error message when trying to get through to you?
Yes we can make calls not a problem
When you call the number it just rings out even when the phone is been used, no engaged tone..
So we can run through some further checks I'll pop you a personal message and we'll take it from there.
