Cancelling emergency back up line

I have called virgin media today to cancel back up line 

I was asked for my bank account and sort code details which I refused 

my call was cancelled as didn’t pass this question 

help

Sorry to hear about your difficulties getting support via phone with your request. It sounds like the call was ended as you did not pass account security questions. We need to pass account security when offering support, and take this process very seriously. (Please do be aware we will also need to do this via the community forum to offer further support.)

We would never ask for any information that would put you at risk - your sort code on the payment card just details which branch of the bank issued the card.
