Hi
can I cancel my phone service and just have broadband only?? I have never used my landline and as the new adapter connects via broadband I want to get rid of the phone service I was forced to take to have broadband. Also why would you still charge line rental for a phone that is now being piggybacked onto a current broadband service?

We aren't able to make any changes to packages via the forums and you would need to speak to the team in regards to this. Any changes of this type to the package wouldn't result in a change of contract or renewal.
If you can give the team a call on 150 from a Virgin Media landline or 0345 454 1111 option 1, option 4 then option 4 this will get you through to the contracts team who will be able to look into this further for you.

If you want to become a broadband-only customer (and if speed is not an overriding requirement for you), have a look at current offers from other providers as you will get new customer pricing elsewhere. If nothing else, it will give you some price comparisons against whatever VM decides to offer you when you try to renew as a broadband-only customer with VM.
