My home phone has stopped working (again). There is no dial tone and I can't make or receive calls (ringing my number goes through to voicemail). It does this on a frequent basis, normally on a Sunday (when I assume they perform maintenance) and then starts working again after a day or two.
There is no problem with my equipment (I've tried another phone) and no fault is ever reported when I check my service status.
Normally I just put up with this but at the moment I need a working phone as I am 86, and have recently had a major operation.
