When dialling certain LAN line numbers from Virgin home phone I get engaged signal, even though I know line I am calling is free. Going on for over a week now.

I am so sorry that you have faced this issue with the landline, can I ask if this is just one number or have you faced this issue with several? Are there any similarities between the numbers if more than one?

This message is on behalf of my elderly Mother, she is having the issue.
Different numbers. Three numbers we are aware of. Two are London (020 😎 and one Uxbridge (01895). We have used a different plug in phone and still happening.
Started on 3rd December and ongoing.
Called 150 yesterday and told an area fault. But all status checks say area is fine, so not sure that is correct.
