Just connected to Virgin this afternoon and haven’t had it before. I don’t want the horrible big white phone the man gave me to be ringing every time my home phone rings. How do I turn it off ?
Underneath the handset, does it not have an ON/OFF switch anywhere? What happens when you unplug the handset, is it still ringing each time the landline is called?
No there is no on / off switch. Once unplugged it doesn’t ring however the battery in it will run down unless I can turn it off . As it’s the emergency phone I need the battery to remain charged so I need to turn it off or leave it plugged into the Mains
