Calls to phone not going to voicemail

I have just set my voice mail to use the standard greeting, but when I test it my phone rings and rings but does not go to voice mail.

Thanks for using the forums to get this issue with your Landline's Voicemail looked into, I am sorry if this has been causing some frustration. I would be more than happy to look into this for you.

I'm just looking at your services on my side and I just need to ask if you asked for Voicemail to be added onto your package at point of sale? Voicemail is a free add-on, but it needs to be attached as it's not something that is automatically added.

Voicemail has now been activated, thank you. When I ordered the package I was told that voicemail was included, but I do not remember been told I had to ask for it to be activated. I am fairly sure that I was not told.
