My wife as had this fault several times now we have two daughters grown up and living in other parts of the UK both have their landline phones with BT
At 23 mins. into the call the call cuts out and as to be remade, anyone had this fault?
If so were VM able to fix?
Thanks for your post!
Sorry for the trouble you're having with the line, is it just these two numbers that have the issue cutting out, or have you noticed it with other numbers also?
Have you tried another handset? Is it a cordless handset you're using
Let me know if you still need help with this,
Yes have noticed on calls to another family member again which go over this time, of course all other calls are short.
I'm asking if other customers have had problem like this and were VM able to get to the root of the problem without difficulty?
Thanks for getting back in touch 🙂
I'm not aware of other customer's having this issue and I'd like to help resolve things as quickly as possible for you.
If you can please let me know the following information so I can rule things out-
Any issues calling Virgin to Virgin numbers?
Do you get the issue when calling mobile numbers?
Are you able to test another phone handset?
Non of the family members which have these long calla are on Virgin.
Would be very unlikely we would have calls of long length to Mobiles.
Doubtful its the handset will try to eliminate.
Thank you, please let us know how you get on.
Cut offs got more regular so booked an engineer and he came today, he found the fault was not in my cabinet but did find a loose connection in the main cabinet mine fed from.
So hopefully problem will be solved.
Glad to hear it is sorted.

Sadly not sorted, have ordered another visit from engineer for tomorrow.
Different engineer today I explained what the other engineer had done so he as requested the engineer who deals the exchange cabinet about a quarter of a mile away to visit that during Monday.
Anyone know how the system works?
I suppose at some point it leaves Virgin network and goes and gets at some point into the National Phone network. We seem to be working back away from me until the fault clears.
