Callers can't hear me

When people call me on my landline I can hear them but they can't hear me?

I've rebooted the modem and even bought a new landline because thought it might have been the old handset but it's still happening.

Anyone any ideas?

Calls dropping out mid conversation and calls which can only be heard one way are regularly mentioned on here when the phone is connected via the VM hub.

You have replaced the handset already so you will need further help from the VM forum team when they reply here within a few days.

Have you tried to see if the volume is turned down at all?

Also does it let you ring out and when you receive calls is this loud or quiet? Thanks

I’ve had this for a few weeks now, several vm calls and even an engineer visit hasn’t resolved the issue.

only thing I’ve managed to determine so far is if caller is from o2 or virgin they can get through fine and can hear me, if caller is on Vodafone or EE they cannot hear. 
Swapped over to this new hub telephone thing a few months ago and everything was fine, then 3 weeks ago this all started, even the white vm emergency phone has same issue, took everything out of the loop and just plugged the white vm phone into the hub and issue still persists.

what is going on vm ?

Yes cables secure, yes switched it off and on. Can’t be my volume as it’s the callers on some networks that can’t hear me and get disconnected after 10-20 seconds.

I’ve tried multiple handsets even the white virgin media emergency phone does not work.
