When is Caller Description likely to be available in Area blue?

I’m in area25, Newport, South Wales.

i had an internet chat with one of your colleagues who checked and said that I could have Caller Description on 150 and it could be done immediately.

.I then called 150 and after a long delay (Asian lady disappeared for a long time) she came back and said it couldn’t be done. No reason given.

An hour later I tried again and the result was the same. Impossible apparently!

I then read through the posts on this board and realised that this has been rolled out for the past six months.

so the question is - how and when can I get Caller Description?

The final sentence probably should read “how when and if”.

All areas should now have it as it's standard to all landlines. There isn't any code to be added on to make it work - it should be automatic.

If it's not working then there is a fault somewhere.

Sorry the caller display feature doesn't seem to be working for you. I'm going to pop you over a PM so I can take a closer look.
