Caller ID

We got connected to virgin last week and it was unclear if we have caller ID included in our package. We rang customer service to check and add it and activate if not. After 45 minutes on the phone and being passed to five different  people we have been told we do have it by one person and that we don't by another, and that we don't have it available in our area?! We are at our wits end.
