Caller ID and 1471 no longer working on landline

Had an engineer out today to fix our landline (stopped working out and in) which he fixed.

However our caller ID no longer works, every call we get just shows as 'external'. With 1471 it just says "sorry, the requested service is not available from this line". Both of which worked before our line stopped working.

Thanks for your post and apologies for the delayed response. Are you still having issues with 1471 since your post? If not I've reset your landline service from here, which can take 24 hours to update. You can also find additional help here https://www.virginmedia.com/help/home-phone-features-not-working

Hello, delayed response and Virgin Media seem to go hand in hand so I knew there would be a wait.

 

1471 still does not work, I will test caller ID after 24 hours of your post.

I have looked through the guide and there is nothing helpful about caller id and 1471 that has [b]stopped[/b]working.

1471 and caller I'd are still not working. 

 

1471 still says this service is not available from this line. 

Caller id still says external.
