Call divert code

I'm in the Virgin Media Red service area trying to get a code to divert my land line phone to my mobile phone during my holidays......

I tried 

*21*0044789&&&&&&3# 

which returns an error "the service requested is not available from this line" 

Seems like the red service area is a bit misty in my case.

Any suggestions gratefully accepted. Tia

Also I should have specified that the Virgin Media landline in my query consists of a set of 3 Siemens Gigaset C300 A "walkabout" phones, if that has any bearing on the issue?

In order to use this service you need to subscribe to it.  There is a monthly fee for it.
