Cable cut outside

Hello,

Since I was not able to connect to the phone service and arrange a visit from one of your technicians I will try here. I have builders working outside my house and apparently, they accidentally cut the cable under the brown box outside my house. 
What can we do about that?

Thanks for that.

Since I will be without a broadband for more than half month especially during the Christmas and New year's holidays  is there any way that you can compensate me for the time I will not be using the broadband ?

I still wait for your private message. I still don't have broadband and I still continue to pay. I really would like to request a refund for all days that I do t use your broadband. Waiting for your private message!

Hello

Clearly as the fault was not caused by Virginmedia wouldn't it be the builders that you would have to request compensation for lose of the internet.

also as the damage was caused by the builders VM may be allowed to charge you for the repair as its not a fault it is damage from someone working with your permission.

Contact the builders they will have insurance for this sort of thing
