Blocked incoming calls.

Hi all,

This morning I missed an phone call from my doctor. Apparently she tried but my landline blocked her as her number had been withheld.

Is this a handset issue or a VM landline issue?

Thanks all.

Re: Blocked incoming calls.

Either you have set your phone to block withheld numbers or you've activated annonomous Caller rejection via virgin

Re: Blocked incoming calls.

Thanks.

I've checked my landline phone, there were a few blocked numbers but I would be surprised if I had blocked my doctor!

For all the understandable reasons there is huge waiting time to speak to an advisor.

Is that the only way to check my VM settings?

I remember years ago having real problems with unsolicited calls and possibly that was when I asked for a VM intervention.

However I didn't take into account a Global Pandemic!

Re: Blocked incoming calls.

You could try calling your landline with the number withheld to see what happens

Re: Blocked incoming calls.

Hi tinker1

Thanks for posting and apologies for the calling issue. If you do have the anonymous caller reject, and the doctors phone from witheld numbers, they won't be able to call you on your landline.

Kind regards,
