I cancelled my VM account over 12 months ago but last month, 17th April, I was emailed a bill for £19. I tried to resolve this with Customer services but they simply kept asking for my password which, as I am not a VM customer, I don't have. I have now received another bill demanding a further £19 and payment of last month's bill. All ways of contacting VM have proved useless and I am constantly asked for my password. I can't say this any clearer - I AM NOT A VIRGIN MEDIA CUSTOMER!!! How can I speak to someone to get this, resolved? You are demanding payment for a service I do not have.
Yes Beth, these emails are genuine, as is the stress still being caused by Virgin Media.
After so long I cannot remember whether I received confirmation of the closure but, I was asked to return the equipment and have made no payments for 12 months so I'm guessing it was closed - no equipment and no usage would seem fairly telling.
I have now tried various ways of getting this issue sorted to no avail.
