Billed for calls - no phone connected?

I've been having an issue with my account - I am being billed for calls when I have no phone connected to my phone line. These calls are all exactly 1 min long to various local numbers at all times of day.

I contacted support and they sent a technician who confimed that I was not even receiving a dial tone in my house and the phone line was disconnected.

I am now trying to get the incorrect charges removed from my account with no luck. I contacted the billing department on the phone who were unable to help. They put me through to the technical department but I was hung up on after trying to explain my issue.

I am now very frustrated and will be leaving virgin media immediately to avoid further charges if I cant sort this. Who should I be contacting to help me?

Hi wkbuchanan,

Thanks for your post and welcome to our forums.

I'm sorry to hear you're having some trouble with the phone line.

I've popped you over a private message so I can go through security with you and discuss the account.

Thanks,

Re: Billed for calls - no phone connected?

I have a similar problem. Being billed for the 3rd month now for call I didn't do. I don't even have a phone connected.

Tried to contact virgin but they keep transferring my call to "the correct department "

I need this sorted out asap. Unable to get a solution from virgin media.

Hello danielmorgado

Sorry to hear this has happened again

Just a quick question now.

Have we sent out an engineer to check for a crossed line

Do you have an alarm connected to the line
